PREPRUFE Plus®

Preprufe® is designed so that the membrane is laid during concreting, and the concrete is poured directly onto its adhesive layer. During the hardening process, the concrete forms a solid, unbreakable bond with the membrane — they become one. This is the main advantage from which all others flow. In case of integrity violation or installation errors, this fully bonded membrane ensures that water under hydrostatic pressure cannot migrate between the membrane and the concrete, thereby limiting the risk of catastrophic failure of the waterproofing.

The PREPRUFE® Plus membrane can be applied with a minimal crew and without special installation equipment, as the scheme is simple: the 'push-out' design allows workers to unroll the sheet in seconds. The double adhesive seam ZipLap™ allows sheets to easily bond to each other, and the adhesive is designed to withstand common adverse conditions on the construction site – dust, debris, and moisture.

PREPRUFE® works immediately. You can walk on the membrane right after installation — rebar is installed the same day. It does not activate prematurely from rain or moisture, is resistant to dirt, movement, and UV until pouring.

Ideal for dense construction. When building has to be done 'in a pit', close to neighboring structures, and there is no external access to the walls — Preprufe® is laid from inside the pit to the structure. This is often the only possible solution on a limited site.

A regular membrane protects the concrete. Preprufe® becomes part of it. That is why this waterproofing is designed for the entire lifespan of the structure — with over a billion square meters installed worldwide and 25+ years of proven reliability.
