Long delays in work execution due to adverse weather conditions
ELIMINATOR® is a highly effective waterproofing membrane for protecting concrete and steel decks, manufactured based on Stirling Lloyd, now GCP, a unique advanced technology of ESSELAC® resins and extensive experience in developing coatings for specialized waterproofing. It cures quickly, forming a strong, flexible seamless membrane.
The waterproofing membrane for the bridge deck ELIMINATOR® is applied by cold spraying and provides long-lasting protection that can exceed the service life of the structure itself. This helps reduce maintenance costs and shorten periods of traffic restrictions or closures.

05
Damage due to heavy traffic loads
The waterproofing membrane for the bridge deck ELIMINATOR® has an unprecedented operational experience, providing protection for thousands of concrete and steel bridges worldwide. Thanks to the unique technology of modern ESSELAC® resins, the system creates a cooperative interaction between the bridge deck, waterproofing membrane, substrate, and asphalt covering, ensuring complete adhesion of the membrane both to the bridge deck below and to the covering above. Extremely high adhesion allows the membrane to withstand harsh climatic conditions and significant traffic loads.
Bond Coat 4 is a patented primer adhesive mixture developed specifically for use with the ELIMINATOR® system. It improves contact between the membrane and the asphalt covering, providing increased adhesion and reducing the risk of premature failure of the upper layer of the covering. ELIMINATOR® and Bond Coat 4 provide exceptional protection for the bridge deck even in the harshest conditions, helping to reduce maintenance costs and shorten periods of traffic restrictions.
Accelerating the waterproofing process
The waterproofing membrane for the bridge deck ELIMINATOR® provides quick, easy, and effective application. Unlike alternative solutions that are moisture-sensitive, the ELIMINATOR® membrane can be applied almost year-round and under any climatic conditions.
The membrane hardens in just one hour, even in high humidity or low temperatures. Additionally, the system allows for operational quality control directly during application, particularly due to the two-color application system, which enables quick verification of the correctness and uniformity of the membrane application.
Advantage 1
Durable and highly resistant membrane - reduces future maintenance costs
Advantage 2
Quick application - over 2,000 m² per day using standard industry equipment
Advantage 3
Does not require hot work
Advantage 4
The Approved Contractor Program and quality control measures directly on-site ensure the integrity of the membrane before the upper covering is applied
Advantage 5
No critical waiting period before applying the next layer allows for phased work and provides greater flexibility in planning
Advantage 6
Not damaged during the application of the road covering at temperatures up to 250 °C
