Nitomortar® FC
Nitomortar®FC is a material used for filling voids and eliminating minor unevenness in concrete before applying epoxy coatings Nitocote and Nitoflor.
Micro-pores, air voids, and surface cracks in concrete
In construction, a common problem is the formation of micro-pores and air voids in concrete. This can occur due to air entering the concrete, for example, due to insufficient compaction (vibration), causing air bubbles to not escape, or due to excess water that does not participate in the hydration of cement; this water evaporates over time, and micro-pores and capillaries form in its place. The Nitomortar®FC material is designed to fill these micro-pores and voids, surface cracks, as well as to eliminate geometric defects (unevenness) in concrete. In addition, the material is thixotropic and suitable for working with vertical and ceiling surfaces. Nitomortar®FC is resistant to chemical substances, salts, and contamination by fats (oils, gasoline, etc.).

Material Features
The product with colored marking is supplied in pre-measured proportions, ready for mixing and use directly on site.
Nitomortar® FC can be applied to damp surfaces; it hardens quickly, forming a completely waterproof coating, ready for further application of finishing layers.
The material can be applied up to 5 mm thick on vertical and ceiling surfaces in one application without the use of formwork. Greater thickness than specified can be achieved by applying subsequent layers.
If a thicker layer is required on vertical or ceiling surfaces, it is recommended to use Nitomortar® HB.
