Technology of work execution
Surface preparation
Clean and tidy surface. Remove mold, algae, fungi, moss, lichens, organic residues. Remove dirt and other contaminants by mechanical cleaning. Remove all loose particles and oil residues. Dry and dust the surface. Open up any cracks.
Application of the Bridgemaster system:
- 1st layer: PAR1 Primer – a two-component, fast-drying primer that is solvent-free, based on methyl methacrylate (MMA) resins.
The application of the "PAR1 Primer" material is performed with a roller with medium pile height over the entire surface at a consumption rate of 0.3 kg/m².
- 2nd layer: Bridgemaster® – a fast-curing methyl methacrylate resin (MMA) screed, combined with a top-dispersed filler and a sealant that provides waterproofing and anti-slip properties of the wear layer of the pavement applied in one pass.
The application of the "Bridgemaster" material is performed using special equipment over the entire surface with a thickness of 4 mm at a consumption rate of 8.4 kg/m².
- 3rd layer: Filler – basalt crumb of 0.9-1.4 mm fraction.
The scattering of basalt crumb is performed manually over the entire surface without gaps at a consumption rate of 6-8 kg/m².
- 4th layer: Sealer Matt – a two-component, chemically highly active sealing compound based on methyl methacrylate (MMA) resins, which dries quickly even at negative temperatures.
The application of the "Sealer Matt" material is performed with a roller with medium pile height over the entire surface at a consumption rate of 1.1 kg/m².
Application of the Safetrack LM marking
Safetrack LM is a system that is applied in liquid form and hardens quickly, based on methyl methacrylate (MMA) resins. The system consists of a strong bonding resin and a top filler of glass beads pre-treated with MMA that are reflective.
The application of the "Safetrack LM" material is performed manually using special equipment at a consumption rate of 3.00 kg/m².
